Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! I am sharing with you today a post I was asked to write as a guest for my dear bloggy friend Kathy over at Lake Superior Spirit.

You can’t help but fall in love with her quirky spirituality. There is something almost magical about her life in the ‘Big Woods’ as she calls them, just a short distance away from the shore of Lake Superior…..I love her photographs, her sense of humour and her gracious, all-encompassing spirit.

So please do visit her blog today. You might even get to read something you never knew about me……:)

Lots of love,

Munira.

Thank you, dear Munira, for what you wrote here about me. Little tears of joy rising from this quirky heart! I am loving all the readers stopping by to welcome you, to read your guest blog, to bridge imagined distances. Glad you think this is as fun as being Freshly Pressed, lol! P.S. I really enjoyed learning more about you through your little autobiography. I feel like it’s almost possible to reach through this computer screen and hug you. How do you say “thank you” in Arabic? Shukran, Munira, ya aziza. 🙂

Kathy, that was pure, unadulterated, and completely unedited, straight from the heart! You have given me the most warm welcome imaginable, as have all your readers/friends.
I had such a great time responding to all those comments! Good grief! Everyone has been so incredibly sweet, my cup runneth over! I just finished replying to the last one 🙂
Hope you’re having fun detoxing and cleansing. And you got the Arabic right, though in Karachi you would say ‘shukriya’, as that is the Urdu word for thank you.
So here’s a virtual hug and a big shukriya to you, my friend from across the seas!

Shukriya, Munira! (Although I suspect you’re not finished replying to comments YET…there will be some latecomers dropping by over the weekend, I can almost predict it…)

Oh thank you! So lovely to get a comment on this post after all these days 🙂 Feel a bit sheepish welcoming you to my blog which has been rather inactive of late….too many things to think about, too little time (or indeed, inclination!) to write! Nevertheless, a hearty welcome to you!
